Your number represents the age at which you accepted Jesus Christ.
Everyone’s number is different.
Everyone’s journey to Christ is different.

My Number Is 12. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 12, but my story began long before I made that decision. Looking back over my life, I can clearly see that God was watching over me, protecting me, and preparing my heart long before I fully understood who He was.

God Was There Before I Knew Him

As a young child, I knew there was a God, but I did not yet understand the personal relationship He desired to have with me or the many ways He was already working in my life.

One memory has remained with me throughout the years.

When I was about four or five years old, my mother and I were walking to visit my grandmother. Before we reached her house, we passed a grocery store where my favorite uncle worked. The moment I saw the store, I became excited and tried to run across the street to see him.

What I didn't realize was that the road had a deep curve, making it difficult for drivers to see anyone crossing. Just as I ran into the street, a car came around the curve. The driver slammed on the brakes with such force that I could smell the smoke from the tires. People rushed out of the grocery store to see what had happened.

At that age, I didn't understand what had just taken place. But years later, I realized something profound.

God had protected me.

His hand was upon my life before I ever recognized His presence.

A Heart Prepared for Christ

As I grew older, I began to understand how important God had always been in my life. Through attending church, listening to Sunday School lessons, reading God's Word, and watching my mother's faith, my heart was being prepared to receive Jesus Christ.

My mother had the greatest influence on my spiritual journey. Her example helped me understand that following Christ wasn't simply about attending church—it was about trusting Him with my life.

The Day I Accepted Jesus

I still remember the day.

I was sitting on the last pew in church. When the invitation was given and the church doors were opened, I stood up, walked forward, and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

That simple walk became the most important decision of my life.

A New Confidence

Immediately after accepting Christ, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace.

Everything I had been learning through Sunday School and church suddenly became personal. As I reflected on all God had already done in my life, I realized that I could go to Him anytime I needed help.

Knowing that gave me confidence and joy.

Looking Back

Today, at 77 years old, I can honestly say that God has always been there for me—especially during the moments when I needed Him most.

His faithfulness has never failed.

How Jesus Changed My Life

My relationship with Jesus has changed the way I face every day.

Each morning I wake up knowing that God has the final word over my life. No matter what comes my way, I can trust Him completely.

That assurance gives me peace.

What Jesus Continues to Teach Me

Every day I wake up, I am reminded of God's goodness.

The longer I walk with Him, the more I recognize His blessings, His grace, and His constant presence in my life.

My Favorite Scripture

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." — Psalm 23

This chapter has been meaningful to me ever since I was a child because it reminds me that the Lord knows me personally and lovingly cares for me as one of His own.

To Someone Who Has Not Yet Accepted Christ

Just try Him. You'll never be the same.

My Message of Hope

No matter what you are facing today, trust God.

Place your life in His hands and allow Him to lead you. As you continue walking with Him, each day becomes better because He is faithful and His promises never fail
